Boaters are required to have one wearable life jacked for each passenger on a boat. Non-swimmers and children under 12 years of age must wear a lift jacked whenever they are in a boat or on the dock.
Noise: Please be a considerate neighbor. No loud music or partying after 10 p.m. Be aware of your noise level at night.
Fireworks: Fireworks are NOT allowed on the property.
Drinking Water: The water for the cottage comes directly from the lake. It is tested often and is entirely potable. If you have any concerns, bottled water can be purchased locally. Some years ago when zebra mussels because an issue at the lake, a filtering system was installed. Occasionally, water pressure drops which indicates that the filter needs to be replaced. The filtering system is located outside in the lower closet to the right of the front door. Turn off the water. The filter is simply replaced by unscrewing the beige cylinder above the water heater, removing the old filter, replacing it with a new one from the supply that is kept in the closet and re-screwing the top.
We hope you enjoy Lake Canandaigua!
